The PEA operates with a series of focused workshops based on technology themes important to its members. The PEA members meet regularly at these workshops to share their experiences, envision the future of the industry and discuss ways to focus and encourage the research and development work of the technology supply community.
These themes are grouped into technology forums which have been changed to the following for 2018:

- Flow Assurance
